That's why I like shiny hunting in S/V, your Pokémon will refuse to autobattle a shiny, so for ones that are really small or just really similar it's nice (along with when you're just a lil distracted)

That's the thing for some reason my pokemon will refuse to kill an obviously not shiny pokemon and it takes serval button hits to gwt them to battle it so I don't really like relying on that method personally.

But if it works smoothly for you that's great :D

a random pet peeve of mine is when people draw a mermaid but they draw the tail bent like it's a human person wearing a costume and not like a wiggly fish tail
